Ceisteanna (549)

Clare Daly

Ceist:

549. Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Health why services being offered to young persons with disabilities transitioning from school in north Dublin city and north Fingal are not in compliance with the New Directions Guidance Document: Defining New Service Locations, issued in February 2016, in which it is recommended that service provision should serve a local population rather than the needs of a larger geographical area. As the Deputy's question relates to service matters, I have arranged for the question to be referred to the Health Service Executive (HSE) for direct reply to the Deputy. If the Deputy has not received a reply from the HSE within 15 working days, she can contact my Private Office and they will follow the matter up with the HSE.
