543. Deputy Seán Haughey asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the public funding which was provided for the construction of the new Wall of Remembrance at Glasnevin Cemetery in Dublin 9; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [7776/16]

The Remembrance Walls are an initiative of Glasnevin Trust and were unveiled by the Taoiseach at the State Ceremonial Interfaith Service on 9 April. While my Department has not provided any funds towards the construction of the Wall, it is a project which I fully support.
