Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Education and Skills if there is an additional salary payment to primary teachers who qualified in earlier years and have recently completed and obtained an honours degree, in recognition of this extra qualification; if so, the arrangements in place to pay this; if these arrangements were suspended when this occurred; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
