369. Deputy Tony McLoughlin asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the funding he has allocated for the regeneration of the Cranmore project in County Sligo; when the project will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9473/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraFunding of some €22.6 m has been provided to date by my Department for the Cranmore regeneration project. A further €16.3 million has been approved in principle by my Department to fund various physical elements of the Cranmore regeneration masterplan in the coming years. Developing a long term vision for the regeneration of Cranmore is important for the communities who live in the area and my Department is committed to continuing to support the project’s aims into the future. The masterplan is currently being finalised by Sligo County Council for launch later this year and this will set out the Council’s timeline for the project.
