226. Deputy Jim O'Callaghan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality the number of persons arrested and detained in 2016 to date under section 23 of the Criminal Justice (Amendment) Act 2009 which extended the scope of section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 to organised crime offences.
