249. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the status of a query regarding the ownership of land by a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17058/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraSolicitors acting for the person named have been in touch with my Department and have been advised by my Department that the area in question appears to be reclaimed foreshore. They were further advised that all of Ireland’s foreshore is considered to be owned by the State , unless valid alternative title is provided.
