257. Deputy Paul Kehoe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the status of an application by persons (details supplied) under the TAMS II scheme; when a decision is expected to be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17347/16]

The applicants in question have applied in Tranche 1 for the Young Farmers Capital Investment Scheme of TAMS II. Their application has passed the administrative checks and the Nitrates check. Final technical checks will be carried out before approval issues.
