171. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the status of a castle (details supplied) where a guided service should be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20407/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraEvery consideration has been given to the request to provide a Guide Service at Carrigafoyle Castle, Ballylongford, Co. Kerry. However, for reasons previously outlined, the Office of Public Works is not in a position to provide this service and is satisfied that the existing access arrangements adequately facilitate those who wish to visit the site.
