362. Deputy Willie O'Dea asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of persons referred to JobPath to date in each county in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20563/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy will be aware, JobPath is a new approach to employment activation that supports people who are long-term unemployed (LTU) and those most at risk of becoming long-term unemployed to secure and sustain paid employment. The JobPath service is delivered by two companies - Turas Nua Limited and Seetec Limited.
As of 8 July 2016, a total of 41,436 jobseekers have been selected for referral to JobPath.
