121. Deputy Bobby Aylward asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if there is a facility to pay imposed fines to the Courts Service by way of instalment; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22256/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Fines Payment and Recovery Act 2014, Number 7 of 2014 provided for the introduction of payment of fines by instalment. The Act commenced on 11 January 2016. Payment of fines by instalment only applies to fines imposed by a court on or after 11 January 2016.
