Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he is aware of the number of social housing units in the area of Fingal County Council where fire safety structural deficiencies have been detected over the past ten years; the number of units per housing scheme or development; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to the reply to Question No. 335 on today’s Order Paper. As the Deputy is aware, issues in relation to social housing units, including fire safety deficiencies, are a matter for the relevant local authority.
