468. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Social Protection if a decision has been made on an application for a respite care grant in respect of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22678/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraAn application for the Carer’s Support Grant (formerly called Respite Care Grant) was received in my Department on 30 June 2016. This application is being processed as expeditiously as possible having regard to the significant increase in the number of people applying for Carers Support Grant this year.
Once a decision has been made on this case the applicant will be notified.
