663. Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Health the status of the drafting of a new national cancer strategy for the period 2016 to 2025; if there is a proposed publication date for the strategy; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22600/16]

Drafting of a new National Cancer Strategy for the period 2016 to 2025 is well progressed and it is envisaged that it will be brought to Government towards the end of the year, following which it will be published.
