Deputy John Brady asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government if he will approve Wicklow County Council's application to employ an additional five staff members consisting of one grade 5, three clerical staff and one supervisor as part of the roll out of the housing assistance payment, HAP; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department received a staffing request, for an additional five members of staff as part of the roll-out of the Housing Assistance Payment, from Wicklow County Council on 23 September 2016. This request is under consideration and a response will issue to the Council without delay.
