532. Deputy Ruth Coppinger asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs to set out the cost of introducing a minimum wage of €12, €13, €14 or €15 an hour for all employees under the aegis of her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27776/16]

Salaries are paid to my Department’s staff, and to staff of bodies operating under its aegis, in line with policies and pay scales set by the Department for Public Expenditure and Reform. The estimated additional annualised costs of introducing the hourly salary rates specified by the Deputy are listed in the following table. These estimates are based on current staffing and pay levels.
