157. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection if an increase in mortgage interest relief can be considered in the case of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27606/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned has been in receipt of a Mortgage Interest Supplement since April 2013. The claim was last reviewed in May 2016. A further review will be conducted on this claim to determine the correct entitlement and the necessary papers will be sent to the person concerned immediately.
I hope that this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
