528. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if unspent TAMS II funding from 2016 will be carried forward to 2017; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28346/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe allocation for TAMS II over the course of the Rural Development Programme from 2014 to 2020 is €395m to allow for investments across the six existing TAMS II measures and the proposed new Tillage measure which will be coming on stream shortly.
The TAMS funding for 2017 will be decided shortly by the Government as part of the annual budget process.
As of the 3rd October 2016 over 4,000 approvals have issued for TAMS II and the payment claims that are received for work completed are being processed by my Department as soon as they are submitted.
