121. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Health if he will meet with a group (details supplied) in County Donegal in order to discuss the issue of cancer services in the north west and other matters; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32172/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraA meeting in regard to Breast Cancer Services at Letterkenny University Hospital, involving the HSE's National Cancer Control Programme, the Acute Hospitals Division of the HSE, representatives of Saolta University Health Care Group (from Galway and Letterkenny) and my Department, was held recently. Proposals arising from this meeting are under consideration.
Officials from my Department would be available to meet with the group if they so wish.
