Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason staff members of Bord na gCon are being placed on boards across the country; if he will specify which boards have adopted the policy of replacing outgoing board members with staff; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraBord na gCon is a commercial State body, established under the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958, charged with the regulation and development of the greyhound racing industry.
The matter referred to by the Deputy is an operational matter for Bord na gCon.
