475. Deputy Niall Collins asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the estimated timeframe for the implementation of the Companies (Accounting) Bill 2016; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [33049/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Companies (Accounting) Bill 2016 was published on 5 August 2016 and is scheduled for Second Stage in Dáil Éireann on 2 November. As matters stand, the Select Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation is scheduled to take the Bill through Committee Stage on 22 November. The timeframe for passage and enactment thereafter will depend on the availability of parliamentary time.
