Deputy John Deasy asked the Minister for Health the number of persons waiting to be seen by a genetic counsellor in the department of clinical genetics, Crumlin, and the National Centre for Medical Genetics, Temple Street; the current waiting time for a routine appointment to be seen in these genetics clinics, both for a counsellor and consultant; and the steps the HSE is taking to address the numbers waiting for genetics clinics.
