Ceisteanna (609)

Seán Fleming

Ceist:

609. Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Health the situation regarding persons with a medical card who have to pay €25 per month; if this covers a 28 day period or a full calendar month in view of the fact that most months have 30 or 31 days; if the €25 only covers the 28 day period, if it effectively means there is a minimum of 13 months in the year when a person has to pay €25 in respect of each period; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
