98. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality further to Parliamentary Question No. 77 of 5 October 2016, in which matters pertaining to a criminal investigation were queried, if she has received the information sought from the Garda Commissioner; if she will provide a comprehensive response to this query; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Further to my response of 5 October 2016, I understand that the allegations which are the subject of the Deputy's representations on behalf of the person concerned have now been referred to in the course of his legal proceedings.

Accordingly, as these proceedings are ongoing it would not be appropriate for me to comment further in the matter.
