344. Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if there is funding ring-fenced for a flood relief programme in Templemore, County Tipperary; if so, the amount; when it is due to commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [35795/16]
Amharc ar fhreagraProvision in the amount of €9.27m has been made in the OPW multi-annual budgets for the construction of the River Mall (Templemore) Flood Relief Scheme. The scheme details are currently with the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform for formal Confirmation by the Minister. Following receipt of confirmation to proceed, OPW staff will require approximately 10 to 12 weeks to mobilise and commence construction.
