Deputy Michael Moynihan asked the Taoiseach and Minister for Defence the name and number of Bills in preparation in his Department and published by his Department since May 2016; the Stage each Bill is at in the Houses of the Oireachtas; the number of Bills from his Department signed into law; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Government’s Legislation Programme includes details of the Bills that are currently under preparation within my Department. The Bills in question are as follows:

1. Defence Forces (Forensic Evidence) Bill;

2. Red Cross Bill;

3. Defence (Amendment) Bill.

There have been no Bills from my Department that have been published or enacted into law since May 2016.
