Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health the locations and the way in which the €11.8 million funding outlined in the 2017 HSE service plan to expand existing or develop new services for persons with disabilities will be spent; the amount of this which will go to each community health organisation; and the details of the expanded or new service being provided in each CHO in 2017, in tabular form. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Government is committed to providing services and supports for people with disabilities which will empower them to live independent lives, provide greater independence in accessing the services they choose and enhance their ability to tailor the supports required to meet their needs and plan their lives. This commitment is outlined in the Programme for Partnership Government, which is guided by two principles: equality of opportunity and improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.
