1604. Deputy Jack Chambers asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will ensure additional car parking spaces are provided for Clonsilla train station in Dublin 15; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1519/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport I have responsibility for policy and for the overall funding of public transport. Issues relating to the provision of car parking spaces at train stations on the heavy rail network are an operational matter for Iarnród Éireann. In view of Iarnród Éireann's responsibility in this matter I have referred the Deputy's question to the company for direct reply. Please advise my Office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
