Deputy David Cullinane asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation when IDA Ireland intends to publish details of grants given to international companies; the names of these companies; the amount the individual payments total; the purposes of same; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI understand that the Deputy is referring to the EU Directive on Transparency of Grants.
Under this Directive, new EU transparency rules for state aid became effective from 1 July 2016 with requirements that relevant information be published on the EU State Aid Competition Transparency Public Search database.
IDA Ireland is in full compliance with the Directive and all relevant information will be published as per its provisions.
