681. Deputy Sean Sherlock asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the engagement which has taken place with the new ambassador to the European Union from the United Kingdom by Irish officials and representatives in Brussels. [1881/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm that our Permanent Representative to the EU met with the new UK Permanent Representative at last week’s Committee of Permanent Representatives (Coreper II) meeting. He and the other staff at the Representation will continue to engage fully with their British counterparts, as with their counterparts from all other Member States, in the normal course of EU business.
