845. Deputy Andrew Doyle asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 579 of 29 November 2016, the products which were added to the illness card for patients of PKU four years ago; his plans to include members of the PKUAI to the expert group; and if persons will be consulted by the HSE to find the most suitable products for persons with PKU; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Under the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013, the HSE has statutory responsibility for the administration of the primary care schemes; therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
