115. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government the total number of houses allocated to families on local authority waiting lists in the course of 2016, excluding voids restored by the local authorities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not hold information on the allocation of social housing supports to households on the waiting list. The allocation of such support is a matter for each housing authority in accordance with its allocation scheme made under the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009.
