Deputy Denise Mitchell asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if there has been a review of the cost involved in applying for Garda vetting in cases of persons proving voluntary services and persons making multiple applications; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI wish to inform the Deputy that An Garda Síochána does not charge a fee for the processing of Garda Vetting applications by the National Vetting Bureau. The question of fees, if any, that may be charged by a given organisation for the administrative services it provides to applicants is a matter for the individual organisation concerned.
