Deputy John Deasy asked the Minister for Health the amount spent during 2016 by his Department and by each named public body under his Department’s remit on legal services, by reference to each firm or individual engaged, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe information requested by the Deputy in relation to the Department is currently being collated and will be forwarded as soon as it is available. I have requested the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy in respect of relevant expenditure by it.
Expenditure by other bodies under the aegis of the Department is an operational matter for the body concerned, and the Deputy should contact the relevant Director/CEO/Registrar directly.
