95. Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if, in view of recent whistleblower revelations, she will intervene and ensure justice is done by enabling the transfer of a prison officer (details supplied) to another area of the Civil Service or public service; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have been advised by the Irish Prison Service that it has engaged over a period of time with the prison officer to whom the Deputy refers and that it will continue to do so in its capacity as a responsible employer.
