Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will respond to correspondence from the Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine regarding the addition of a representative of an organisation (details supplied) to certain farming representational committees under his remit; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have received correspondence from the Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine and other correspondence regarding the addition of a representative of the organisation named to certain representational committees under the remit of my Department. This correspondence is currently under consideration and replies will issue in due course.
