699. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when the targeted agricultural modernisation scheme, TAMS, IT system will process payments to participants that have incurred a penalty under the scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The facility for the correction of obvious errors on payment claims submitted to the TAMS II online payment system is currently undergoing final testing.

The work required to deal with penalties is in progress.
