194. Deputy Paul Kehoe asked the Minister for Health the status of the tender process for the satellite dialysis unit in County Wexford; when the process will be complete and contracts awarded; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15774/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe HSE has advised that a Satellite Haemodialysis Unit will be developed in Wexford town. It will be under the clinical governance of the Haemodialysis Unit at University Hospital Waterford. I have been informed that an earlier tender process for this project could not be completed as the successful tenderer was refused planning permission for the intended site. I understand that the current procurement process is in the final stages and I have asked the HSE to provide you with further details.
