118. Deputy Jonathan O'Brien asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality the status of the review into the allegation of abuse made by a person (details supplied) and the Garda handling of the case; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17678/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am aware that the members of the family, connected with the case referred to, have pursued complaints in respect of a number of issues over a long period of time and that there was also protracted litigation which I believe was concluded some time ago. There are, however, no aspects of this case currently under examination in my Department and there are no further actions being taken or open to my Department in this regard.
