1436. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the status of discussions on a new workforce plan for the early years sector; and when a revised plan is expected to be issued. [19809/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraCurrently the commitment by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs and the Department of Education and Skills is to deliver a new workforce plan for the Early Years sector by the first quarter of 2018 (School Age Childcare Report). The two Departments are currently scoping a proposal for this work.
