I propose to take Questions Nos. 707, 734 and 735 together.

The presentation of medals for participation in the 1916 commemorations was a matter for the services concerned and/or their sponsoring Departments. My Department has no role in relation to An Garda Síochána, the Defence Forces, or the local authority fire and rescue services and no guidelines were issued by my Department in regard to the presentation of commemorative medals.
