Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality further to Parliamentary Question No. 80 of 4 May 2017, if she has received the promised report from the Garda authorities on this matter; if so, the conclusions of this report; the steps her Department and An Garda Síochána will take on foot of this report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As set out in my reply to the Deputy on 04 May 2017, my Department is in contact with the Garda authorities in relation to this matter and a full report is awaited. I will communicate further with the Deputy when this report is to hand.
