227. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the status of the Government's commitment to increase the funding allocation for ANCs for the 2018 scheme. [25160/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Programme for a Partnership Government sets out the commitment to increase the budget for the Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) Scheme by €25m in Budget 2018. This commitment will form part of the Budget 2018 discussions, in parallel to the ongoing redesign of the scheme required by EU regulations.
