Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of persons waiting to sit their driving tests in counties Cavan and Monaghan; the waiting times for the first five months of 2017 for driving tests in counties Cavan and Monaghan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe operation of the driver testing service is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority. I have therefore referred the Question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
