2056. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Social Protection if a decision has been made on an application for carer's allowance by a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [28298/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraI confirm that my department received an application for carer’s allowance from the person concerned on 20 April 2017. Additional information in relation to the person’s application has been requested by a deciding officer on 13 June 2017. Once the information is received the application will be processed without delay and the person concerned will be notified directly of the outcome.
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
