Deputy Thomas Byrne asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government the position regarding the funding applications of Meath County Council for social housing developments at locations (details supplied) in County Meath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has recently received proposals from Meath County Council for the funding of social housing developments in the locations concerned.  These proposals are currently being assessed by my Department's technical staff, who will be in contact with Meath County Council on the matter shortly.
