873. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of bank accounts the Commissioner operates inside and outside the State respectively; the location of those bank accounts; and the function and-or purpose of bank accounts operated by the Commissioner that are outside the State (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy will be aware that the Garda Commissioner is the Accounting Officer for An Garda Síochána and is responsible for the Garda Vote.

I have asked the Garda Commissioner for the specific information requested and when it is to hand I will inform the Deputy accordingly.
