254. Deputy Willie O'Dea asked the Minister for Social Protection when a decision will be made regarding a carer's benefit application by a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [29139/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraI confirm that my department received an application for carer’s benefit from the person concerned on 22 May 2017. The application is currently being processed and once completed, the person concerned will be notified directly of the outcome.
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
