Deputy John Brassil asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will request TII to reinstate the continuous white line directly outside of a school (details supplied) between Kells station and Deelis bridge, Caherciveen, County Kerry on completion of road works it is currently carrying out; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The planning, design and implementation of individual road projects on national roads is a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland under the Roads Acts 1993-2015 in conjunction with the local authorities concerned.
Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy's question to TII for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you don't receive a reply within 10 working days.
