1594. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Social Protection the 2017 budget allocation for farm assist; the amount expended to date; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [36693/17]
Amharc ar fhreagra€82.8 million was provided for the farm assist scheme in the 2017 Revised Estimates Volume. Expenditure on Farm Assist to the end of June 2017 was €38.6 million. This is €2.4m lower than profiled due to the average weekly numbers of recipients being lower than expected.
