599. Deputy Fiona O'Loughlin asked the Minister for Justice and Equality when he expects an appropriate facility for persons awaiting deportation will be completed in Dublin airport. [36666/17]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe development phase of a project, which is under the responsibility of An Garda Síochána and delivered in conjunction with the Office of Public Works, is due to commence at Dublin Airport in September, 2017. This involves the refurbishment and fit-out of an existing facility to provide a Garda Station, office accommodation and detention facilities. I am informed that the estimated duration of the work is 10 months.
